01 — THE PROBLEM

Teach ecology to kids who just want to play.

Labirynt Stegna Park runs a 3-hectare corn maze with a 1.5 km and an almost 5 km route. The park wanted a game that makes the walk more fun and teaches children about marine ecology at the same time. It also had to work at home, not only in the maze.

02 — THE BUILD

Three decisions that made it a story, not a quiz.

  1. App start screen: two whales under a wave, titled Morski labirynt

    End-to-end production

From the client’s brief, the team wrote the scenario, designed the UI/UX and visuals, wrote the copy, adapted and extended the 3D models, and published the app to the App Store and Google Play.

  2. App screenshot from the AR game

A rescue story with a baby whale

A storm separated a baby whale from its mother. Players guide it through the maze, scanning QR codes to find and collect 25 sea animals in AR.

  3. App screenshot of a rescue task

    Learning by doing

Some animals need help: cut a seal free from a net, collect rubbish or close valves leaking toxic waste. They only go home once the danger is removed.
