Something I can’t show yet, for Meta Ray-Ban Display.
I’m currently building for Meta Ray-Ban Display, Meta’s glasses with a built-in display, controlled with the Meta Neural Band. The project itself is under NDA, so this page is about the technology, not the product.

01 — THE PROBLEM
What I can share.
The product stays under wraps for now. The platform doesn’t: below is what building for Meta Ray-Ban Display involves, and the constraints that shape every decision on a screen you wear. For a hands-on example, see Neon Snake, my own game for the same glasses.
02 — THE BUILD
Building for a display you wear.
A 600 × 600 additive-light display
Unlit black pixels add no light, so black is effectively see-through and everything on screen sits over the real world. Layouts are validated at 600 × 600, text has to read over both bright and dark surroundings, and state can’t rely on colour alone.
Input from the wrist
Meta Neural Band gestures and the glasses’ touchpad arrive as directional and select input. Every screen has to work with a few swipes, a pinch and Back, and focus must never get lost, because there’s no mouse or keyboard to rescue the wearer.
Web apps that run on the glasses
Web Apps run in a Chromium-based browser on the glasses, served over HTTPS, and can register tools so spoken requests to Meta AI reach the app.
