01 — THE PROBLEM

Show creators what a Horizon world can be.

Meta wanted entertaining, engaging experiences built inside distinctive worlds: places players can enjoy on their own, and that creators can try out before building the same kinds of mechanics into their own worlds.

02 — THE BUILD

A saloon packed with things to do.

  1. The saloon floor with tables, a staircase and a fireplace

    Competitive mini-games, side by side

Players challenge friends to quick-draw shootouts, try to break into the top 10 at the BokBot shooting range with different guns, and hurl sheriff’s badges at target posters.

  2. A cowboy avatar drinking at the bar next to drink taps and a Mixing Drinks poster

A bar where robots order drinks

Behind the bar, players mix the perfect robot soda-pop and serve it to the saloon’s mechanical regulars.

  3. Wild West Saloon logo with a robot sheriff, revolvers and two robot chickens

Leaderboards and secrets keep people coming back

Players compete for special crowns on the leaderboards, and bonus plays are hidden around the room: cook a mechanical chicken in the fireplace, or shoot the golden BokBot for extra points.
